Description
Howard Zinn’s play “Marx in Soho” dramatizes the life behind the theories of one of the most compelling social thinkers of the nineteenth century, Karl Marx. In the play, Marx is resurrected from the dead and has come to New York City to galvanize the collective intellectual and social energies of everyday people, to inspire hope in the power of basic human decency, in our capacity to make our own histories, and to imagine the basis for a more just, equitable, and humanly sustainable society.
