As a member of the Young Alumni Council, I have been involved with planning events that bring Laker alum back to campus and remind them why they love Grand Valley.
Shortly after graduating from GVSU, I became involved in sports marketing through GVSU's club hockey program. After a couple of years, I began writing for an online sports startup called Bleacher Report.
During graduate school I had an internship coordinated through the SPNHA with Cascade Township that opened the door to my first in field job.
Since my graduation in 2016, I have tried to stay connected to GV. I have been a member of the Young Alumni Council since the fall of 2016, now sitting on the executive committee for the 18-19 year.
In 2014 I joined Kellogg in a finance role, and have since moved into my current position with our Internal Audit team, which allows me the opportunity to see our operations all over the world.
I can now proudly say that I am back as a staff member at GVSU, Laker for A Lifetime!
Since graduating with my masters from GVSU, I have been a supervisor in patient finance with two organizations and currently work as a regulatory administrator with an organization that I love.
Right after graduation, I was fortunate enough to land a banking job in the midst of one of the most existential crises in modern finance � The Great Recession.
I graduated with a degree in Creative Writing and completed my MFA at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. My first novel, "The Concrete", will be published May 1.
I graduated with a degree in Advertising and PR. From there, I started working at an advertising agency in Detroit where I became a writer in the Creative Department.
