Are you new to weight training and have trouble figuring out what exercises to do or what programs to follow? GVSU small group training will be offering Introductory Strength once a week on Wednesdays from 7:00PM - 8:00PM in Weightroom B-009. Our coaches will teach you the correct form and progressions for all the main compound movements and create an individualized 9-week strength program. Introductory Strength will $5 for the entire 9 weeks and will be limited to 12 participants so sign up soon before all our spots get filled up! Small group training will start Wednesday 9/20 and end Wednesday 11/15.

Strength and Conditioning
Are you interested improving your strength and aerobic capacity? Our coaches will create a comprehensive 9-week strength and conditioning program, provide clear instructions and corrections on each movement, and push you to achieve new strengths! Strength and Conditioning will be $10 for the entire 9-weeks and will be limited to 12 participants so our coaches can give as much attention possible to the participants. Be sure you sign up before the class fills up! Our small group training class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays and run from 9/19 until 11/16. All classes will take place in weight room B-009 from 6p-7:15p.

Sisters Transforming and Refining Ourselves and Never Giving Up
STRONG U is for any female-identified student, who is ready to create and take control of their life through Fitness & Wellness. We recognize that this particular group of individuals in today's society have unique barriers when it comes to lifestyle, body image, and healthy choices. We are breaking through these barriers by creating a sisterhood of like minded women where they are able to freely express themselves within a supportive, non judgmental environment. During this 12-week support group we begin each meeting with a discussion topic and then finish out the hour with a 45 minute workout tailored to your individual goals. Classes will take place in the Instructional Fitness Studio (D030) Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-6:30 pm. We want you to be TRANSFORM, we want you to be REFINED, we want you to become a STRONG U!
